Avoid blood-thinning medications and supplements (such as aspirin, ibuprofen, fish oil, vitamin E) for 3–5 days prior if medically appropriate
Avoid alcohol for at least 24 hours before your appointment
Stay well hydrated leading up to your treatment
Avoid dental work or cleanings within 2 weeks before or after your appointment
Come with a clean face free of makeup if possible
Eat a normal meal beforehand to help prevent lightheadedness
Additional Tips:
Inform your provider of any medical conditions, medications, or history of cold sores (especially for lip filler)
Plan for possible swelling or bruising and allow time for healing

Avoid touching, massaging, or applying pressure to the treated areas for at least 24 hours unless instructed otherwise. You should also avoid strenuous exercise, excessive heat (such as saunas or hot tubs), and alcohol for the first 24–48 hours, as these can increase swelling and bruising.
It’s best to avoid makeup for the remainder of the day and to sleep with your head elevated the first night if possible. Following these guidelines will help protect your results and promote a smooth, comfortable healing process. Continue to take your Arnica as directed by your injector.
